What is Meditation?

Meditation is a practice of being aware and present. A misconception of meditation is that you have to be still and switch off all thoughts which can seem a bit daunting for meditation ‘beginners’. Meditation is the practice of shifting your focus from your external world to your internal world.

Meditation is observing your thought patterns and behaviours without judging them, simply stepping into the role of the observer. Through this practice you’ll get to know yourself from a different perspective, finding stillness within even when the external world seems chaotic.
