What is Yoga?
Yoga isn’t just a physical practice. Yoga is so much more. Yoga is a practice where you get to know yourself. A practice that teaches us that we can’t always change the external world but we can choose how we react to it.
The word Yoga translates to ‘Union‘. It unifies mind, body and spirit. Yoga is a collection of mental, physical and spiritual practices and originated from ancient India.

What is Meditation?
Meditation is a practice of being aware and present. A misconception of meditation is that you have to be still and switch off all thoughts which can seem a bit daunting for meditation ‘beginners’. Meditation is the practice of shifting your focus from your external world to your internal world.

Have you tried Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Yoga means union, nidra means sleep. The characteristic feature of Yoga Nidra is the rotation of consciousness which originated in the tantric practice of Nyasa.
Nyasa means to place or take the mind to that point. Originally, Sanskrit mantras were placed at different parts throughout the body. Modern day yoga nidra no longer uses Sanskrit so it can be practiced by everyone.
